I feel that the emphasis on what school a manager attended is overrated. It becomes annoying as the book and/or story becomes repetitive, e.g. more like who you know impression that pushed one to the CEO position. One should remember that not everybody has the funds to go to a top school and not all top schools produce so called good CEOs, most go there for networking opportunities.
For me the book is too superficial rather than a good insight.
