Summary

The time is ripe to learn the proper way to train the mind, using Bob Palmer’s revolutionary high-performance system that utilizes the state of mind called the Zone. Bob has been teaching world-class shooters to get into the Zone for more than two decades, and now he has written the ultimate book for winning. Bob holds nothing back in his quest to give you a step-by-step approach to winning that is understandable and easy to learn and literally takes your moments of brilliance to your whole game.

Palmer steers you away from of the stuff you usually find in books - the psychology of emotional issues, progressive relaxation, and breathing techniques, where you are forced to be conscious and think. As Bob says, “Great shooters don’t think – they just shoot.” And his clients are using the system to win at every level, from the Olympics to local and national sporting clay, skeet, and trap championships.

Mind vs Target is a system that teaches you to get into and maintain the Zone. And it is full of strategies and tips that, for example, allow you to make distracting people disappear and clay targets appear as big as garbage pail lids. Beginners find it fun and exciting, as everything is new to them. Advanced shooters like how it entrenches the feeling of the Zone. No matter if you’re a world-class shooter, a weekend enthusiast, a beginner, a coach or a parent, Mind vs Target needs to be a part of your clay target arsenal.

Woeful….

45mins into it sand it still hasn’t even told you anything of use… it’s dragged out to make it look like a long book but in reality it repeats the same stuff over just in different ways, keeps using other people’s quotes, author just loves to talk about himself “when I skied, when I played hockey, when I was a karate champ, when I took a car ride and on and on.. it’s got nothing, repeat nothing to do with clay pigeon shooting, by his own admission you can use the “Sportsexcel Program” (and my god if he says that once he says it a thousand times!!) for anything… don’t expect it to teach you anything about clay shooting, it’s like a badly rewritten book from the 80’s about achieving excellence, or one of those how to get rich books, that just waffle away, say a few things that in reality don’t make much sense or are just not insightful…. Waste of a credit, don’t hit the buy button!
