A Healthy Alcohol Free You

This audiobook was a counselor, comforter, strategizer, and chef to me in one book. I believe this could be the end to the cycle of chaos alcohol brings and control it instead of it controlling you. It provides both physical and mental reasons a person may need to drink, the triggers, and mindful tips to keep yourself in check. I felt encouraged and supported throughout the book, promoting my ability to follow through and find hope. Most of all, I liked the recipes for making drinks alcohol-free but still enjoying some flavor.

Such an enjoyable read!

Beyond the bar press really nailed this one. Having an understanding of WHY someone would choose to not have alcohol and digging into dry January and Sober October helps to fully embrace this lifestyle. The health benefits are clearly outlined and paint a picture of this as a piece of true wellness.
The tips on cravings and withdrawl seem super helpful as well as the emotional and social aspects that were addressed.
The yummy recipes were the icing on the cake. I recommend this listen for anyone!

Join the Social Without the Alcohol

I’ve never been a drinker, but I love the fun mocktail ideas. Maybe if I'm holding a mocktail people will quit trying to put alcohol in my hand and giving me the stunned look when I tell them that I don't drink.

I loved this!!

Easier when you have a plan

I knew Dry January was gonna be rough, but I didn’t want to go in without a plan. This book helped a lot!
