In a business like monster hunting, it's all about setting priorities.

thought there would be more to the story though, kinda disappointed but the story itself was great just didn't expect it to end the way it did just spent alot of time with monster hurting this shape shifter...

Very good book well worth a listen it’s just from The beginning of the book it is setting the stage  for a big finale  then, when it finally reaches the end, and the stages is set it ends rather annoying really I know, authors need to keep people buying their books but it’s bloody outrageous, how much this author does it The last two books, what   has been released as nothing to do with the main story line  bloodlines what I am doing the review on Now is the last main entrance and that was in 2021 but only a few days ago he brought out a book monster Hunter Phantom which again is nothing to do with the main plot this author needs to stop being greedy and actually release some main titles soon or I’m just going to lose interest altogether

I do love a story that keeps you engaged and drops an unexpected end and this end was the biggest Mike drop!!!! NEED the next book !!!!

Another great follow on from the others but cliffhanger ending, is so annoying lol still worth it though, new characters as well as the regulars make this book great

For the first time, an ending has shocked me!! it was a slower burn than the others but I really enjoyed it and didn't want it to end, when it did I was shocked! im now desperate for the next book as usual!

I was nervous that this would be like the last addition to the canon (the distinctly sub-par collaborative effort "Monster Hunter Guardian" with the distinctly mediocre narrator Bailey Carr) but it's back to the good stuff with Oliver Wyman behind the mike. If you enjoyed the first six then you'll love this one, mad humour and lots of guns, but if you liked the whiney dullness of book 7 this may not be for you...even Julie is back on form...

It follows the same style as the rest of the series, all the same fast paced action and funny quips you'd expect. It doesn't really bring much new to the table... but hey, its an MHI novel! Just sit back and enjoy the romp.

The narration is as good as usual.
