Die Übergabe des Correggio läuft nach Plan, und Paolo kann das mittlerweile geschlossene Hotel seines verstorbenen Bruders in Cervia aufsuchen. Im Ristorante im Erdgeschoss kocht immer noch die temperamentvolle Lucia, die nicht weiß, dass er der Erbe ist. Bevor er entscheiden kann, was mit dem Haus werden soll, wird der Kurator in Parma tot aufgefunden.
