Loved the narration of Lauren Pedersen, who brought the emotions and suspense to my ears.

Taya Trapp is a former special ops and has seen and faced danger before. But she fighting for the freedom of her niece from a sex trafficking group. The only way to keep them both safe is the Ozark mountains, where she meets Ryan Boyne, a crime novelist. Ryan knows from meeting these two women he must keep them safe. With the Boss of the gang hunting them, they need the help of the people of Misty Hollow.
With secrets and betrayal, the fight is hard.
