About this listen
Can love be written when Tyler and Liz are on different pages?
After Liz Montgomery dumped "Mr. Perfect" four days before their wedding, she built herself a new happily ever after - aka workaholic. Between grad school, a demanding job, and helping with Happy Moments Charity events, she has determined not to let relationships stand in the way of her dreams again. But one wrong step throws her unwittingly into the arms of a stranger who could threaten her plans.
New York Times best-selling author Tyler Lakewood is in town to complete one job: interview family and friends for NFL star Kyle Montgomery's biography. When an opportunity to help Liz with Kyle's charity events turns the page of his plans, he goes to great lengths to ensure Liz sees him as Mr. Right. While fighting her mounting attraction for Tyler, Liz accepts Tyler's help. Soon, she can't deny he has already written on the pages of her heart. When plans for the annual charity ball unravel, she must decide whether to close the book forever or let him write the happily-ever-after ending she's always dreamed of.
Mr. Write is book one in the sweet, contemporary romance series, Sundaes for Breakfast.

Master degree student Liz Montgomery is the perpetual cheerleader for her American football centred family. She has two of her brothers and her father committed to the sport and all of them committed to the family. And while it is wonderful to be a part of a connected supportive family, including Liz running her NFL star brother's charity, her dreams and desires are often sidelined. In fact she is insecure if she is wanted for herself or for her family connection.
Then there is successful fantasy author Tyler Lakewood who has agreed to write Liz's brother's biography. There is instant chemistry between Liz and Tyler but a lot of resistance as they struggle through their issues and commitments.
This is a clean story with a generous portion of angst, emotion, humour and tension written into the plot. Throw in a few interfering characters and Liz's rommates' habit of sharing stories over sundaes (at breakfast), and the story is fairly busy with detail.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
