About this listen

Join Hal and Uncle Nat as they plunge straight into an exciting mystery - this time while on Safari!

All-aboard for the third amazing journey in the best-selling Adventures on Trains series from M. G. Leonard and Sam Sedgman.

Harrison Beck and his uncle Nat are on the journey of a lifetime aboard the Safari Star - a luxurious steam train that will take them from Pretoria to the stunning Victoria Falls. Close encounters with the amazing animals and landscape of Southern Africa are adventure enough, but things get mysterious when a passenger is found dead inside a locked compartment. Is it just a terrible accident, or is something more suspicious afoot? It’s up to train detective Hal and his new friend Winston to find out.

Really good story for children and adults

I'd recommended this book for children over 8. It was a great story for adults and children and kept us all entertained on long car journeys. We really love this series, so we're looking forward to the next one. They are educational as well as entertaining.

Unbelievable

Soooooooooo good and when I mean good I actually mean exquisite wonderful amazing. I thought the first book was crazy but this book is so good that it should be a movie 🍿 loved every second of it.

Also if the writers read this it would be so nice and cool!

To all the Mums out there looking for good book for a 9+ year old child this is a creative crime thriller that will blow your mind.

Great book

This is a great series of books and I like the fact that there was a preview of the next book danger at dead man’s pass. Milo essembark is back next book. I love adventure stories but to make them on trains are even better. The next book sounds a bit creepy but I bet it will be another banger.
