About this listen

A L¿Ecole is the third part of My First French Lessons, an exciting audio programme for children aged four to ten.

It contains some finger mime exercise (deux petits escargots), songs (au clair de la lune, une souris verte) and a story (Rémi n¿aime pas l¿école)

My First French Lessons contains 4 more lessons: Mes Premiers Mots de Francais(which should be listened to first), Food, Animals and Body Parts.

The lessons encourage children to develop an interest in the French language and culture. They are designed to be fun, memorable, engaging, confidence-boosting and to build solid foundations for further study of the French language.

Ideally, you should leave some time between listening to each lesson. Lessons can be repeated as many times as you like. Children should be encouraged to mime along (finger mimes exercises) and to participate as much as possible in the lessons.

Hearing the songs.

I've heard all the others in this series. It's the same as the others.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

Again, I couldn't understand fully the songs and again, I think this is a good book for young children. I don't understand what's so good about the finger mimes though.

Good for young children.
