Critic reviews

“...keep the children gripped on the classics and rekindle the imaginations of 6-10 year-olds, almost ignored by children's radio and bludgeoned by Aussie soaps and Hollywood special effects....” ( The Guardian)

I know this is targeted at children, but as an adult I have thoroughly enjoyed this. The stories are fab and the narrator is brilliant. A great first step into norse mythology. A nice easy listen that is not overly complicated. Don't expect a classics degree education from it though! I will happily listen to this again.

Enjoyable, relaxing, educational.

This is a fantastic audiobook, brilliant narration and equally great stories.

I used to have this audiobook on tape when I was younger and this brings back all the memories of long car journeys listening to the mischief of Loki and the other gods all trying to make things better.

Highly recommended, especially as an introduction to norse myths for young children.

Great, reminds me of my childhood.
