Great book about Neuroplasticity
Interesting how the nervous system can change its activity in response to intrinsic or extrinsic stimuli by reorganizing its structure, functions, or connections after injuries. The audiobook does teach you to sharpen your thinking skills as well as to improve your memory. Seniors have issues trying to memorize ideas or things they did, and it's hard. I will use this audiobook to assist my mom who has Alzheimer's so she can apply it in her life so she can stay firm on decision making. I like the author’s clear narration voice, which has potential growth.

Brain science without the headache!
After noticing memory slips at 58, I grabbed this audiobook instead of panicking. The narrator's conversational style makes complex concepts surprisingly digestible during my daily walks.
I've implemented the suggested memory exercises into my morning routine and have noticed I recall names better after three weeks. The sleep optimization section was eye-opening - adjusting my bedroom temperature dramatically improved my focus the next day.
What I appreciate most is how practical everything is. There is no fancy equipment or complicated regimens—just science-backed habits that fit into real life. I feel hopeful rather than fearful about aging now.
