About this listen

Nicholas and Alexander majesties and massacre is a book about: love, life and death of the Russian Czar Nicholas the second and his family. The Czar’s reign commences in the end of 19th century with his father’s burial and inheriting the Crown with an absolute power. His reign begins with Coronation, wedding day, birth of his five children, including son with haemophilia, and the strong love between Nicholas and his wife Alexandra. Unfortunately, his constant unwise decisions lids to Khadynka Tragedy, Bloody Sunday, revolution 1905 and creating a parliament, provisional government and the Czar’s abdication. Which finishes to the imprisonment of the family first in Tobolsk and then in Ekaterinburg.

The book finishes with the communists obtaining power and execute the entire Royal family including children. This book is interesting because, it shows: love, hate, conflict, sex, treachery and murder between the characters. This book is unique, because it provides an opportunity for the adult listener to dive into a horrifying historical moment one hundred years ago and experience for yourself the life in Russia.
