I liked most of the stories, although I found myself missing the end and having to go back to hear it properly.

The narrator was... very enthusiastic. And so much was written in the first person, I assumed it was read by the author. (It’s not. )

I wasn’t as keen on the ‘authors notes’ being interwoven between the stories. I found it put me more in the mode of fanfiction instead of professional storytelling... a bit self-indulgent. I prefer to take away my own impressions from the work first, and perhaps compare notes to an afterword. The back and forth, combined with a first person narrator in the stories made it a bit of a jumble.

I did really enjoy some of the (very short) stories.

I received this audiobook for free in exchange for a review.

An atypical collection.
