Loved the whole series, fantastic narration (wow what a talent) and the different characters. Caught myself chuckling out loud at times at the irreverence in the main character towards authority figures - a bit like me 😊.... sad it's finished and will look at the author's other books. 🐲❤

This was such a nice way to round up the story of our heroes, and as sad as I am that I don't get more sarcastic soul blade quips, and comical lines from our general, it has been a great ride. I won't give any spoilers, but just know, this is a wonderful ending, to a wonderful story. Or is it the end? Only time will tell. In the meantime, there is a spin off series that has some familiar friends from this series in, so when you're done here, go and check that out, because that's where I'm heading, right now! Thank you Lindsay, for yet another fantastic series. This is the 4th series of yours I've listened to in a row, and I am such a fan of how your characters are written and developed, made better only by the brilliant narrators you have reading each series.

Stumbled across this series and 'couldn't put it down' so to speak ! action fantasy rom com with a butt ton of sacrcasm loved every minute!!

Great read by Catling Davies, who brought all the characters believably to life. Hoping for a follow up book or two ;)

The last book was so disappointing but this one was better. I’m glad the série is finished 🙄

After reading the whole series these books were delightfully entertaining.
The humour was fun and the characters amusing.
It didn’t follow the same old as most books of this kind.
I recommend reading the whole series to get the full picture of what’s going on.
I would recommend this and the other titles.
