Jason Burke was a man hiding from himself in a small cabin high in the American Rocky Mountains when his simple, quiet life was shattered one night by what he first assumed was an aviation mishap. I liked the story. Was an enjoyable listen.

Maybe the rest of the series creates more depth to things. I enjoyed it all and can not fault any of it. I just wish there was a little more at times.

It reminds me of Firefly and looks to be a great idea for a band of aliens banding together in their own spaceship and taking on the bad guys! I LOVE IT!!

I was a little apprehensive about this series to begin with, it started off a little slower than I'd have liked for a relatively short book. However, after the first few chapters and when the rest of the characters are getting introduced it kicks up in tempo and turned out to be a fantastic story.
