Love this series of books and absolutely adore the narrator’s voice and delivery. Could do without the lovey dovey stuff but get past that and I couldn’t stop listening

Great story and character development. Superb narration. Multilayer this less transparent. I don’t have much time to read but manage to listen, so am looking forward to the next instalment. Tantor points at November 2024 for book 4

I was really looking forward to this as I liked the 2 previous books in the series and I like Gildart Jackson as a narrator. However, the story line and characters were naive and predictable. Characterisation over simple and stereotypical combined with Jackson’s delivery made them almost Dickensian type caricatures.

I really bought into the first 2 books but this one dragged on and then rushed through the main story. The next book had better be more like the first 2 or it's the end of my listening to this series. Ryan Kaine needs to be more like Mark Dawson's John Milton character (who is more believable and relatable. 🤔
