About this listen

The police face an extraordinary problem.

Somebody has started shooting unsuspecting citizens dead as they go about their daily business in the northwest of England.

But it is a very specific type of person that the gun man is targeting. Pedophiles.

In order to keep the public calm, the police have no alternative but to reveal the killer's motive.

And that's when things start to get really tricky for the investigating officers. Public revulsion of child molesters is at an all-time high, so when the killer is hailed as a hero vigilante by the media, DCI Andrew Miller and his team face the ultimate challenge in catching a man who is determined to continue with his executions until he is caught.

Please note: This audiobook contains swearing throughout (including the worst one).

Important note: This audiobook is not suitable for any person who is sympathetic to pedophiles or any person who can condone child sex abuse.

Distracting

The story may have been good, however I was distracted by all of the added in nosies. The performance delivery was monotone.

An excellent story that was wonderfully produced

A truly engaging story with a very gripping finale.
The production values were amazingly done. It brought the audiobook alive. I assume the previous reviewer listened to something totally different as the sound effects and vocal range of the narrator encouraged me to sit in my car and continue to listen, even though I had arrived at my destination.
The short trailer for the book contains sound effects so why someone would buy the book when they know it contains sound effects and then complain about it afterwards is beyond me.
The fact that a female voice was used for the two main female characters also enhanced the production.
Please keep up this excellent work and maintain the level of production on future books in this series.
Thoroughly enjoyable.

time waster

I started to listen to this book and the performance was so bitty, weird and jumbled that if the story was any good I missed it. Did not finish book
