Finally found tips that actually work

I’ve tried so many organizing methods that never stuck, but this book felt different. It didn’t expect me to become someone I’m not, it worked with how my mind already works. I picked a few tips to start with, like tackling small zones and setting visual cues, and they’ve made a real difference. I’m not perfectly organized, but I feel less overwhelmed and more in control. If you’ve struggled with focus and clutter, this felt really doable and realistic.

Solid Resource for Those with ADHD

My son has ADHD, and finding advice that actually works for him has been a constant struggle. This book is a game-changer because it’s written specifically for ADHD minds. It’s not the usual type of advice, but it offers realistic, step-by-step strategies that actually make sense for someone with executive functioning challenges. The room-by-room guides and hyperfocus techniques are super practical, and I love that it focuses on building habits. I like how it breaks down big, intimidating tasks into manageable steps. My son tends to get stuck when things feel too big to handle, so the simple routines and creative organizing methods are exactly what he needs. It’s clear that the author understands the ADHD brain and how to work with it instead of against it. I highly recommend this book!

Helped Be Tidy My Mind and My Home

I listened to this while cleaning out my closet and honestly, it kept me going longer than I planned. The ideas are simple and make sense, especially if you get overwhelmed easily like I do. I liked how the tips were broken down into small steps. The narrator had a calm voice that was clear and easy to follow, though a bit flat at times. Still, it felt like a friend walking me through each room. I’ll be reusing a few of these tricks next time my space gets messy.

Offers great solutions

A really good audiobook with practical advice to solve everyday issues. I found the strategies to focus to be very useful, and I plan to use the decluttering techniques to tackle two areas in my home. I also thought that the book provided evidence-based information, and the tone and delivery of the book were great, too.

Pick this up for anyone with ADHD in your life

Visionary press has done an amazing job of compiling a go to guide for anyone with ADHD struggling to keep their living spaces in tact and organized. My daughter struggles with this, so it was a wonderful find for me. What I love most about this audiobook is how it feels like it was written by someone who truly understands what it’s like to live with ADHD. It’s not about trying to force your brain to work differently; it’s about working with your brain and making things easier for yourself. The tips are practical, non-judgmental, and actually fit into a real-life, ADHD brain’s way of functioning. Maybe this will do the trick

I don’t have ADHD, but my husband and kids do—and nothing I’ve said over the years ever really landed. I figured it was time to try something that actually speaks their language. This book covers stuff they deal with every day: time blindness, emotional ups and downs, procrastination, clutter, routines that never stick. It doesn’t just tell you what to do—it explains things in a way that makes sense for ADHD minds. It even gets into how to use hyperfocus to your advantage and manage tech without it taking over. If you’ve felt stuck trying to help someone you love with ADHD, this book might finally be the thing that connects.
