start with the bad. wow narrated by someone who needs to learn the English language. too often starting a new paragraph the first word is half skipped. for example the word then would be en. narrater totally ruined this for me. Great story line tho

It is a while since I heard or read a Chris Ryan book and this one made me want more. The narration was superb and made me forget it was one person reading.
There were too many moments in the plot designed to shock and they did. One in particular made me stop listening and take a break until I reminded myself this was fiction.
I hate that Chris Ryan plays fast and loose with his characters, sorry can’t explain without spoilers, and I wish he understood his readers a little more we want to read thrillers not horror.
That said this was a page turner and will make me listen to Ryan again.

A good story, thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint is the narrator should check the correct pronunciations of some of the places and military terms. Surprisingly he appears to be British but does not know how to pronounce British place names, fine for those who are unaware but annoying for those that are.

Really really good story but the narrator is a little boring and lacking in accents, but other than that it's a really good read

Got deeper and deeper, and leaves it open for next book. Not the best, but good.

Missed something in narration, lack of emotion, didn’t grip you like Barnaby or other narrators. Mispronounced words, needed proofing.

The skipping is absolutely dreadful... jumps in sentences.. thought I was going mad. its a shame as the story is good I ended up buying the kindle book to read along with

Another great story by Chris Ryan, some trademark gore, found the narrator a little lacklustre in certain parts and almost to slow a reader for the most part.
