Great story as always, and I did enjoy the audible…. But I absolutely hated the narrators ‘man’ voice. Did the characters no justice and they sounded ‘slow and a little dumb’

Well written, good characters. All male voices sounded the same so that was my only complaint... got a bit confusing!

Introduction to the characters went on far too long for me. I finished it and the end bit was good, however the final ending left me hanging a bit.

I have read every Cathy Kelly book and loved them and jumped at this one as soon as I saw it. I really haven't enjoyed this one. in fact I have stopped listening and may try again later to read it myself. The characters are not as relatable as Kelly's usual characters.
The narrator "puts on" the male voices and it is really irritating and my main reason for stopping listening.
Sorry for the negative response.
