Paraísos cuenta en primera persona la historia de una joven que queda viuda y, al ser desalojada de la casa en Opendoor, decide mudarse a la capital con su pequeño hijo Simón.

En la ciudad la protagonista consigue trabajo en el reptilario del zoológico; se aloja en un edificio tomado -el Buti- regenteado por dealers, travestis y por Tosca, un singular personaje.

La inexpresiva joven, mantiene una pasiva relación con el mundo que es interrumpida a partir de los encuentros con la irreverente Eloísa, un personaje enigmático con quien tiene un pasado compartido y con el que mantiene una relación ambigua.

La protagonista se sumerge en estados lisérgicos a base de alcohol y marihuana, llevada por la incontenible personalidad de su amiga Eloísa, que la empuja a cometer todo tipo de desmesuras.

Paraísos se mueve de la melancolía al paroxismo desplegando un interesante bestiario de personajes solitarios y desdichados.
