Going from parenting teens to young adults is almost as big of a transition as parenting children to teens, if you know what I mean. It's another phase of life, it's crazy. And I think that having a book like this, to understand the transition is super helpful! Even for a young adult, to get where parents are coming from.

This has a lot of great ideas about how to engage and keep the family unit together and also have to have productive conversations (and more). I feel like if every family had an ounce of guidance in both of these, the world could be a much better and less stressful place!

I was struggling to connect with my 21-year-old son. We argued a lot, and I felt like I was losing him. This book helped me step back and really listen to him. I started following the advice, and now we talk without fighting. It’s not easy, but I feel like we’re closer again. If you’re feeling lost as a parent, this book can really help.
