A truly fascinating story of a man with a true gift but who had so very many faults. This is a very sympathetic portrait of Patton but nonetheless it is a fine listen.

I wanted to know why my dad had so much respect for General Patton.
Listening to this book over it’s many hours has done much to answer my question.
I found it most interesting, informative and useful. It was a few good hours well spent.

There are periodic gaps in the narration. Which if wasn’t for the fascinating subject I may have given up on it. The sound quality overall was also pretty poor.

Patton was a great military leader if somewhat flawed individual that is, for me,what it means to be human. In his case definitely one of the greats f his generation.
