About this listen
Denial is just another type of lie. But sometimes it's all a girl has.
Giselle
Okay, so I threw a glass of beer in his face the first time I saw him. I thought he was his cousin and that he was treating my best friend badly.
It was an honest mistake. I didn't know the psycho was going to see it as a challenge and form a fixation on me. My answer was a firm resounding no.
But that didn't seem to stop him. And when a group of drunk guys decided to follow me home one night after I left the Den, I had to admit, it paid to have a stalker who was six foot six inches of pure, tattooed muscle.
Angel Fury was something to behold, and now that he made it into my bed, I was afraid he'd slithered into other places. Like my heart. There was only one way to get rid of the man who would only cause me pain in the end.
Deny. Deny. Deny.

Angel
The first time I saw Giselle Vega, I knew I wanted her. The curvy goddess stood toe to toe with a monster like me and didn't even bat an eyelash. It wasn't every day I met a woman feisty enough to take me on.
She could keep spouting her pitiful lies, but I knew the truth. I felt it every time I touched her. She was crazy about me. And I wanted to keep her. I just had to get her addicted. So, I decided to lay in wait, like the Viper I was.
That was the thing about snakes. Sure, we hibernated at times, but we always struck when least expected.
My pretty Little Doll had no idea what was coming for her.
Pitiful Lies is the third in the contemporary romance series of connected standalones, Jersey Bad Boys. This series features familiar tropes such as enemies to lovers, forced proximity, arranged marriages, secret babies, and contains some violence and explicit scenes.

Perfect
Everything about this book is perfect. Action, perfect.
Steamy scenes, perfect.
Performance, perfect.
These characters are so real. I love that this leading lady has a fuller figure and still knows how beautiful she is without being up her back side. A brilliant all round book.

Lies
Brilliant narration from Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning
Angel is the Viper’s Enforcer and has his pick of any woman he wants. knows he can have his pick of women he is a viper, an Enforcer. He never chased a woman, that is until Giselle . She is everything he wants and needs and she keeps saying no.
All can change in an instant, seeing something causes her to start to loose her self belief. Can Angel keep Giselle and make sure she is safe.
This book has so many twist you will need a neck brace. Action, suspense , chemistry that is off the charts, alpha all the way through.
Brilliant listen brilliant read, brilliant character’s.

Obsession!
There's a lot of miscommunication and a lot of obsession in this book. Oh, and a lot of steamy fun times! And a lot of action! What else could you want?!?
Narration was good. These are the same narrators that did the first two books so it's easy to move from one book to the next. No jarring switchover.

Fun, exciting listen!
Those Jersey Bad Boys are so bad they are good! In the most surprising of circumstances, Giselle finds herself as Angel's obsession. Yes, he is hot, the attraction is unmistakable, but it can't go anywhere. Little does she know, that obsession may just save her life. CD Gorri builds the suspense as danger comes to the forefront, and Angel is right there, protective and savage. Giselle finds herself not only in love, but needing to realize her worth. Sensual, provocative and all around HOT, I loved how this one had the guy falling first and building the confidence of his woman. But snakes, why did it have to be snakes? Listen to this and you too will understand! Fantastic listen,
Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning continue their narration of the series and I love them together. Sonali is Giselle and she is just so good at finding the traits of her characters and making creating their personality. Fanning is the over protective, obsessive Angel and he makes his dangerous but impossible not to love. A listen you don't want to miss!
