The narrators 10 out of 10 (specially the mans voice, perfection).
over all the story was gripping in places but became predictable but not necessarily in a bad way. was a great listen, I couldn't turn off and the twist and the end/cliff hanger makes you want to purchase the next one. would recommend if you love a good voice and spice. The story was ok, MFC became predictable and the MMC even though he was sexy as hell, honestly, I just wanted to shake him...

Did I mention…?!
4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & 2🌶️🌶️. Wooohh I didn’t realise going into this that this would be the most delicious slow burn. So much tension between Avalon and Dean so when… it happens it EXPLODES! I listened to the audiobook, and fair warning there is ALOT of swearing in this book. I usually really don’t like “bully” romances. There’s just something about it that I hate but this one was different. It’s set at East Point High which is essentially a private university owned by some mafia type rich families, to which dean is one of the heirs and one of the “sick boys”. They recruit Avalon to it, who’s had a rough start in life, for mysterious reasons. They’re very controlling, and I suppose they do bully her a bit but it’s not the usual. Which is why I liked it! And… did I mention Dean is Pierced?!? 😏
Avalon is such a hardcore FMC she gives as good as she gets which is so great! The ending was so messed up and ends on such a cliffhanger. Trigger warning for non consensual sex. Not by our MMC. I’m intrigued as to where the story could head next.

A must read!
I throughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to listen to book two - well written by the author Lucy Stone this is the first of her books I’ve listened to and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with complex and strong characters and a great story line!

The ending
The relationship between the fmc and mmc was so cute and made me laugh but also was steamy but the ending is quite messed up your just sitting there hoping it won’t happen.
