About this listen
Special Agent Leo Reeves is new to the FBI’s LA field office. His career has been on track since the day he joined the bureau. He loves his job as a profiler, and being assigned to a new team in one of the busiest offices in the nation will be the opportunity of a lifetime…if he can put the past behind him. The face Leo shows the world is strong, focused, dependable, and capable. The long list of citations in his file only serve to prove how good he is.
If he could only forget he was sired by a monster.
Former marine staff sergeant Max Prince leads by example. Whether it means protecting men in battle, working for the US marshal service, or being the best damn field agent the FBI has ever seen, he brings a special kind of bravery to the job. His teammates depend on his ready smiles and his funny jokes and know him as the excellent agent he’s proven to be. They never see the man who buried his heart eight years ago.
The last thing he wants is to fall for the new guy.
When a serial killer suddenly starts targeting innocents, both men have trouble pinning down who they’re dealing with. With victimology all over the place, Leo can’t make sense of a profile, and Max simply wants to put the bastard away before he murders anyone else. The case is maddening, but worse, the attraction the two men find every time they look at each other is beginning to get in the way.

The sexy time between Leo and Max is HOT AF 🔥🔥🔥, almost to the point of it interfering with their jobs. Max is still grieving a major loss from 8 years ago and never expected to fall for the new guy on the team. Leo is the new guy and he also has secrets.
I enjoyed listening to this story so much. There is no cliffhanger, and a HFN ending, but we will be hearing more from Leo and Max in upcoming books in this series and I’m looking forward to them.
I almost forgot to say that there is a great teaser for the next book at the end of this so be sure to listen to it.
A copy of this audiobook was provided to me at my request and my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author/narrator.
Captivating!

Back in the world of law and order Patricia Logan style, where the bad guys are depraved and do unspeakable things to their victims and the good guys are hero’s, desperate to save the next victim or victims.
This time we are with the FBI. Lincoln Snow has his own team now and has recruited the best. Max Prince is a crack FBI agent and has been teamed up with the latest member of the team Leo Reeves profiler. The team need his skills to help fined a new serial killer who does unspeakable things to his victims.
Leo Reeves has a unique prospective when looking at serial killers, and he’s not clear what he sees here. With each new crime the profile changes. With a crack team and an evolving profile they are able to find the clues.
If that wasn’t enough the chemistry between Max and Leo sizzles off the pages and the sheets, and to top it off we have some old friends joining the party.
This book is fast moving and Patricia Logan at her best: crime, sex and passion and a touch of BDSM. Fall in love with these guys, this team and Walking the Streets with Patricia Logan.
Can’t wait for book 2.
