I worship the ground Victoria Helen Stone stands on and had pre-ordered this sequel to "Jane Doe" five months before release. Jane is one of my favorite book characters: independent, smart and provocative with confidence through the roof. She is shamelessly herself. She also happens to be a sociopath.

Don't get me wrong, this book is excellent, sassy as ever and full of sexual tension. But after the first part, my expectations were very high and, frankly, different. "Jane Doe" is a cold bitch revenge thriller; "Problem Child" is a mystery with a smidgen of revenge and too little action. The thing is, I didn't want Jane to become a detective, and although she is still a cold bitch, she develops a (faint) family instinct and I just didn't want to see that.

Still, I'm begging for a part 3.

Really enjoyed this, although not as much as the first book. I like Jane she is such a complex character, it is easy to follow her thoughts and her logic. There is a lot of repetition from the first book and some rambling sections i would have skimmed over if it wasn't on audio. The narrator is really good

I found this installment a faster read/ listen/ progression than the first. Extremely enjoyable. Loved her travels back home and more back story into Jane's past. Can't wait till the next book. Highly recommended. We could all learn a little from Jane in my opinion.
