Summary

Kerry Barnes at her very best
I am a very big kerry Barnes fan but that didn't stop me returning my last two books of hers. This book brings you back to the start of her Cruel Secrets series and is just a brilliant listen, excellent story line and Annie Aldington's narration is as fantastic as ever.

Oppin Mad
Being of East London stock I could relate to characters and their relationships probably more than many. The characters were very believable and could have been any number of people I met in my youth. At one stage I did think it was going to be just another story based on the Kray twins and there were certainly many similarities to those stories. I did however find it difficult to put down and enjoyed the listen.

Great read yet again from Kerry Barnes
Having read the subsequent 3 books first, I then discovered this prequel, loved them all. Annie brings the characters alive so much I feel bereft when I finish a book. Just love Cyril and would love to read more of his exploits...
