in really enjoyed this as an absolute beginner. if you can get past the mildly patronising format it is really really useful. and although I say patronising, that is really what you need when you start a new language.

The music drowns out the female teacher voice so much that you cannot get the words. For a language tutorial this is a real problem. The music needs to be half the volume or both speakers need to be male so you can hear what they are actually saying.
Compared to other languages in this series this one lacks memorable tips which are very useful.
The sections are at too fast a pace for assimilation which means you need to keep going back.

This is a great introdcution to Portugese and covers all the basics. I found the language quite hard but the music and format of the audio was great.

This is such an easy way to learn the basics of a language, it's given me a lot more confidence in travelling. It just teaches phrases though so not the course for someone who wasn't a more emersed and in depth language experience

Like any of the language courses, you get out what you put in. This course uses a music background with a native and English speaker going over Portuguese phrases and words. The course tends to provide a sentence, in English, and then in Portuguese and then breaks down all the words in the sentence, and the pronunciations for the words. The course is similar to the other earworms courses, and if you liked one of the others I imagine you'll like this one.



It's not a bad idea, although the tunes are not that great, I find that I can recall some of the sentences. A good supplement for learning, or for a quick fix before heading on holiday but it is not a good standalone course.
