This was a very random choice as I’d not really heard about Suzanna since her days with Trinny. I’m very pleased I picked her book to listen to. I feel that I know far more about her life and didn’t realise what an interesting one she lives. Hope to have you back in our lives more often Suzanna, We need your wise words and guidance back!

SC has had a charmed life with lots of opportunities along the way. I find it interesting to listen to how she reflects on poignant moments and regrets her actions - many of us would be delighted just to have been in those situations!
The life story was engaging, but SC’s reading was quite stilted which didn’t aid the telling of this interesting story.

I enjoyed it.

I first heard of Susannah back when she was dating the Queen’s nephew David Linley. I then followed her and Trinny’s fashion shows, so I was excited to read this. It was great to hear more of her background and the complicated relationship she had with her mother, an alcoholic. Susannah takes you through some wild stories over the years, which are so funny I laughed out loud. Some periods I felt could have had more detail such as her shows with Trinny, but on the whole, it’s a fantastic book that I thoroughly enjoyed. She is candid about her own struggles, yet leaves you with an uplifting feeling that she is enjoying her life and loving her new chapter. I totally recommend this book!

What an honest review of her life , told with humour, pathos and some regret having viewed the best part of it through the bottom of a wine bottle. I loved her before and adore her now. An inspiring story for every woman of a certain age regardless of her class !
