About this listen
From the bestselling author of The Ravenhood Trilogy comes an angsty, steamy journey filled with love, loss, and self discovery.
Thirty years ago, my father became the other half of a broken love story.
A relationship he’s kept hidden for decades.
Upon unearthing his secret through a series of emails in our paper’s archives, I began my search for the truth. Haunted by my father’s love story, and in my quest for answers, I never imagined I would discover a love of my own. Or that my love for Easton Crowne would be key in discovering the reason behind what split our parents up.
Doomed from the start and knowing the havoc our relationship would inevitably wreak on our families, I could never have prepared for the toll it would take or the cost of the truth.
But in order to find our ending, we had to go back to their beginning.
My name is Natalie Butler, and this is my star-crossed love story.

Beautiful story amazing narration
Please tell me Joe and Maxine have been nominated an award for this! Been waiting what feels like forever for this audio and it didn’t disappoint. I began by skipping between reading the e book and listening like I usually do but soon stopped reading as just wanted to hear the narration. This may have ruined all future audios for me as nothing will compete. This is the best audio I’ve ever listened too and I have listened to hundreds!! I felt the connection between Easton and Natalie I have replayed my favourite chapters over and over again (which I never usually do) I just loved it!!

Can't go wrong with Kate Stewart!
This book was amazing and the performance by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell made it sooo much better! So glad I held off reading the book until the audiobook was released.

100 % Emotionally wrecked
I’ve never cried so much or spent so many hours listening with tear-filled eyes as with this book. Awesome writing but also an incredible performance by both the voice actors. Top 5 of the year for me.

Space Age Love Song
ugg, I don't want these characters to stop, I've read the books several times, and listened to Drive a few as well. I think Joe and Maxine have outdone themselves, especially Joe's emotional empathic performance as Easton. Though I kind of wish that he had learned the intonation of Kai Kennicott's Reid voice.
Over all it is a brilliant love story (my favourite ever), with up and downs, heartbreak and forgiveness; not to mention a brilliant and eclectic soundtrack. looking forward to Bittersweet Symphony, but wish there were more Crown and Butler and their friends.. I mean what about G, Joel and Rian? please Kate, please! 🎸🎤🤘❤️😞😎🎶😭🧳😍👍
My only suggestion is not to listen to The Ravenhood series back to back with this book like I did, it messed a little with my enjoyment at the beginning of the audiobook, as I heard other characters voices.

Such an emotional rollercoaster.
Listening to the novel is so much better than reading it. The narrators had put in so much emotion in it, at some points of the story, I had tears in my eyes.

The narration is next level good
Finally!! An audiobook where the male parts are acted by a male, and female parts are acted by a female, no matter whose chapter it is. It makes such a difference to the immersion. I just wish other production companies did the same.
