Sweet Sybil a Dragon shifter who is insecure about herself and her looks..Being a Dragon she is a very rare bread and alot more curvy than her sisters.She never got the attention she deserved from men and was always friend zoned.Sybil is a social worker and she really is sweet,kind and caring about everyone.
Percy is also another rare creature practically unknown in fact,A Damphire...Not exactly a Vampire but somewhere in between.
But the species of the Damphires are dying off as they have been cursed and it is Percy's duty to find a Dragon to lift the curse.
Sybil and Percy's paths cross and it is like Fireworks on the 4th July,Percy knows she is a Dragon and he must do his duty and turn her over to his coven.
But fate throws him a curveball because Sybil is his fated mate and he is instantly in love..
So how can he hurt Sybil when she belongs to him...Sybil is unaware of the curse on Percy and his clan, but she is in awe that a man like Percy is interested in her.
This is such a wonderful story I have no idea how C.D Gorri thinks of these intriguing,captivating and creative stories I always thoroughly enjoy them.
Once again the audiobook is narrated superbly by Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning who leave you hanging on their every word.Their performances are exceptional and I love listening to them.
I think Sybil and Percy are my favourite in this witch shifter trio of a book series,I adored this book and C.D Gorri's words.
