This was my first book by Elizabeth Knox and I enjoyed this read. This is a true dark romance plus a MC rivalry was the perfect book. I also enjoyed Amber Bray narrating this story. If you are he type of person that can't handle reading about abuse this my not be the story for you. But, this was a great story and can't wait to read more.

This is my first from both the author and narrator . This story is a darker side of the M/C world . The heroine is caught up with a president that likes to dish out the abuse. The only way she can avoid it is when he has other girls entertaining him. There is one member of the club that she has a tight friendship with but they can’t do anything.
Amber voice was solid , clear and strong .

What can I say but wow! This is one story that will keep you on your toes. Now I can't wait for Here Kitty, kitty! Good read love this series.

There are no words. This story is very well written. The author does a great job just sucking you in with the characters and making the characters just blow your heart into tiny shards. Oh my. Amber Bray outdid herself with the narration. This book is not for the faint of heart, but oh wow, what a book. I need the sequel.

loved this when I first read it and then to listen to it, this was really good, I loved how the narrator brought this to life

I’m still reeling from the emotions this story evoked.
Please be aware this story is extremely dark. Having said that, I also have to say I admired the strength Roxy had to withstand the abuse and Tex his bravery in rescuing the woman he loved, even though it was late in coming. This story is continuous the next is “Here Kitty Kitty”, Roxy and Tex’s daughter. From the preview it sounds intriguing as well as the fact that Roxy passed her iron will on to her daughter.
Amber does an excellent job narrating the characters in this harrowing account.

Motorcycle Club books can be very dark, and this one is dark, heartbreaking and suspenseful. Tex and Rage were childhood friends and fell for the same woman. Roxy marries Rage and Tex distances himself, watching the destruction Rage causes. Rage is the perfect name for him, as his temper and personality is full of anger. Roxy's last beating has her escaping with Tex and their story begins. This is not for the faint of heart. There is graphic violence, rape and MFMFM scenes. It's very well written, giving us the realism of Roxy's life before she left as well as the constant fear of being discovered. There are moments of light and happiness, but that underlying fear is always there. The book leaves us with an cliffhanger that does make me want to continue, needing to see where it will all lead.

Amber Bray gives a wonderful performance of this. With all it's triggers, she gives us the all the emotions. We feel fear and pain, utter despair and heartache, love and hope all with her voices. It's not an easy narration with the many characters and vast personality changes and she nails them. A great portrayal of this story.

Loved listening to the audiobook, Roxanne was married to Rage the Prez MC Demons of Hell MC. Rafe he was the meanest person and he treated his wife like that, he used and abused her. The only way she was to escape was with her best friend from high school and he is also a brother in the MC. Their was a lot of action, sad, happy and a lot of emotions that was like a rollercoaster ride.

Wow. An absolutely dark motorcycle club tale riddled with abuse and all kinds of terrible things; so this is definitely not for the faint of heart or those with triggers for such topics. At the same time, there is a beautiful story of love at the core of the story and there are some very steamy scenes that are very well written. Great story and would love more by this author.

This narrator gives a spectacular performance for a tale with such emotion throughout. She exhibits the perfect amount of emotion in every single scene; happy, tragic, or otherwise. I am utterly impressed and will look forward to more of her performances.
