About this listen

Prepare for extreme horror. This unique collection of 10 stories features a range of international talent: award-winning authors, masters of horror, rising stars, and fresh new voices in the genre. Take care as you reach into these dark places, for the things here bite, and you may withdraw a hand short of a few fingers.

Volume two of our collection features the following stories:

"Toll Road," by Antonio Simon, Jr. "Boxed," by Bryan Cassiday "A Murder of Crows," by Reed W. Huston "We All Ate the White Flesh," by Chris Lynch "The Lonely Man," by Barnaby King "The Queen Beneath the Earth," by Ken Pelham "Dear Sir," by Steven Samuel Stafford "Colder Still," by Justin Cawthorne "Quarry Lake," by Kelson Hargis "God May Pity All Weak Hearts," by Daniel Russell

I found the stories bland not engaging and certainly not scary. Some are poorly written if you go by the narration. The narration itself is decent, but unintentionally funny (when the talking ravens and attempts at 'scary' voices kick in.) Be prepared to hear traffic, aeroplanes flying over on the soundtrack as well at the odd furniture being moved. it was like it was recorded in someone's front room.

Disappointing and shoddy
