Like many books in this genre a great start the challenge is keeping it going many fall apart by the 3rd book the only fault is why the shouting I think it is safe to say many will listen to this wearing earphone.

This was a great read from start to finish, the MC is relatable, with a unique way of gaining power.

There’s an undercurrent to the story that shows how the “big players” are moving in the background, while our MC, mostly oblivious, does what he needs to to survive and thrive.

I highly recommend this book and have already pre-ordered the second in the series.

If you want a catchy series that don't taper off, this is a good choice. It is well paced, fun and keeps your interest. The main character is not overly stupid, the villains are not overly smart - humor is good and it is an overall nice story. However...

The narrator is who I think is actually great, needs to take a step back and let the reader enjoy the book in peace. The constant shouting makes it hard to listen as the volume needs adjusting constantly. Less is more, especially accents and female voices.

The book had great pacing, interesting characters and developments and a clean and engaging system. Literally the only thing I struggled with were what I assume we're intentional choices for the voices for secondary and tertiary characters..
His overall performance and intonation was engaging and really enjoyable to listen to but many characters sounded like when someone tries to do a stereotypical Scottish or Irish accent for the first time. All for fantasy accents but I personally found their tone and pitch were distracting and sometimes hard to listen to

I'm quite happy about this audiobook, it was fun and entertaining.
It was also great to hearthe narrator again as it's been a while since the last audiobook of Noobtown (I miss hearing that damn badger...), I'll be reading the rest of the series while waiting for the next audiobook ^^

I highly recommend this series to all litrpg fans, it's an easy read/listen and a great addition to the genre.

I love this Genre and this story is written very well and took me by surprise a few times. the female character voices however really break emersion.

I am very pleasantly surprised by this one and find it very hard to stop listening. I got the second book without hesitation, let's keep this little gem of a series going!

If you came for litrpg and action the author got you but it will take time.

But you know that all good things don't happen overnight.

My only problem is that this might be the worst thirst trap known to man but I have yet to know.

I bought the second audible then all other books in this series.
