About this listen
She watches; she dreams. She sees more than they realize. She has worries and fears, hopes and desires. She is troubled; she is angry. Above all, she is lonely. She may be someone you know. She may be you.
In So Much to Tell You she tells her story. With humor and insight, with sensitivity and strength, with painful honesty. You will never forget her.

After suffering from a horrible accident and becoming unable to speak, Marina is asked by her English teacher to keep a journal. At first she dreads the assignment, but then the blank pages fill up with stories from her life. A powerful, honest, true-to-life tale that will resonate with young listeners, particularly those on the introspective side. Performer Kate Hosking's voice is cool and androgynous, and while that may seem like a strange choice for a young female protagonist, she ably captures the anonymity Marina feels.
Critic reviews
"John Marsden's writing is artful without being self-conscious. With consummate skill, he has Marina record the events around her and, through them, reveal herself." ( AudioFile)

Short But Strong
So Much To Tell You doesn't begin in the begining, and surtenly doesn't end at the end. But it's a really wonderful book. I listened to this book in 1 sitting more than a mounth ago. I am still thinking about it quite a lot. The reader is perfect for the story. She just knows how to do it right. It's not an easy read, not at all. Marina is not easy to get along with, but I found myself liking her more and more as the book progressed. There are many more carichtors in this book whom I admired or liked. If you wish to have an interesting and thought-provoking time, when you listen to this book and long after you finish, please take it.
