Great story, mostly well read
I’m still confused as to why the reader does excellent accents and speech but reads the connecting prose like an elevator advising which floor is next.
Enjoyable story though.

Good book but the narrator has a limited range of voices
Almost all the males characters were given the same Catherine Tate-esque voice, which really let the book down. Disappointing because I had waited ages for the new recordings to come out.

Excellent listening

good story, great performance
Sian Clifford managed to make the single word "squeak" from the death of rats carry a conversation, and covered the rest of the characters with enough range to know who said what before narration confirmed it. Another great discworld book. the only negative are the interludes with Bill Nighy, they're a jarring interruption for what many times is a short sentence.

Loved it
One of my favourite discworld books. Think the narration from Sian Clifford adds life to the characters and felt myself being sucked in. Better than a lot who do just one accent/tone throughout.
Love Peter Serafinowicz as death too.

So good
It’s always a relief when one of your favourites is looked after. Sian Clifford does a sparkling job as the lead narrator, getting Susan and Buddy so right. Serafinowizc is a brilliant death but what I really loved was the Geordie Glod. I’d never imagined this voice for him but it was absolutely perfect. I’ve now listened all the way through the witches, Small Gods and am nearly at the end of the Death series (2 to go) but not one of them has been less than a 4 star experience so far. I’m loving them!

Not keen on narrator but story excellent
Not keen on narrator, voices didn’t quite match the characters as I’d imagined. Too many accents going on.
But the story as always is excellent
