About this listen
For many years, Klingons have been the premier warriors in the galaxy. Regarded across known space with fear and awe, few beings understand the true depth and greatness of the Klingon culture. Noted Klingon language and cultural expert Marc Okrand collects the wisdom of these great warriors, taking proverbs and quotes from some of its greatest thinkers and bringing Klingon philosophy to lesser races across the galaxy.
For more Trek titles, browse our special Star Trek section!©1996 Paramount Pictures, All Rights Reserved (P)1996 Paramount Pictures, All Rights Reservedthe Klingon way was definitely not - in my opinion- told the Klingon way, by Kahless it was closer to a struggle to get through a whole 1 hour 20 minutes of this. I've listened to Star Trek: Prey, 36 hours of Robert Petkoff twice with ease in comparison, this book clearly missed that.
I get the idea to use the 2 actors best known for their role as Klingon in the franchise, but to me it was a hit and mis. the way the stories being told are as distant and cold as can be, not even close to "the Klingon way"
other than that, is it interesting? yes! of course! do they struggle with the Klingon pronunciation? Definitely! should you listen to it? I would say yes👍 it's still interesting if you're into Klingon ways
