Great fun. Can't wait to listen to the next one. Corny in places, no doubt, but it fulfilled its expectation to be fun. I enjoyed it so much I listened twice!

The one thing I didn't like was the rather graphic attention to detail during fight scenes. I felt it was superfluous to requirements and actually detracted from the plot rather than adding to it, as the description of the sound someone's arm makes as it is twisted and breaks takes rather a lot of print (and leaves me wincing). I wanted to get on with the story.

Marc Thompson is a fantastic narrator, and continues to impress here. The story of Darth Malgus was enjoyable, although still not as good as the Darth Bane trilogy.

Plenty of character insight with a rich storyline filled with love, hatred and death. Good amount of technology and lightsaber combat. Well rounded book that makes you want to read more in The old republic era

I loved the book. The narrator did an amazing job. His expressions were great. You could hear him really feeling the story and he passes it onto the listener. The story is awesome and absolutely necessary for any SWTOR fan. 6/5.
