About this listen
Emma, Aiden and Gina stand on the brink of a new life. After the trauma of Aiden’s abduction and return, they are slowly healing and returning to a fragile normality. Emma is desperate to protect her children, but the world is fascinated by Aiden, the silent child who is finally learning to speak for himself.
Against her better judgment, Emma allows her son to attend a talk show. Her worse nightmare comes true when her daughter, Gina, is snatched from the studio and a chilling game begins.
Emma is convinced the answers lie in the darkest corners of the family’s past, and that Aiden must be able to work out the puzzle, if only he dare reach into the horrors of his memory.
But as the mystery deepens and Gina is still missing, the family must face a terrible question: is history repeating itself, or is there a new enemy to contend with?
Layered with emotion, and told from Aiden and Emma’s perspectives, the sequel to Silent Child is a dark and thrilling listen.

Outstanding 5 Star
It’s not often a sequel smashes you in the face like this one! Nail biting with plenty of twists to keep you going. I really enjoyed listening to both books and both narrated fantastic.

Disappointed with the storyline
I absolutely loved the first book 'silent child' but was extremely disappointed with the second follow on book. It seemed rushed and not as thought through as the first. The storyline was very predictable and the ending was not very gripping.

Excellent
I wasn’t expecting the sequel to Silent Child to be very good, but it’s every bit as thrilling as Silent Child. Totally recommend this book

Great sequel
Great action packed sequel which is worth a listen if you enjoyed the first “Silent Child”.
I love the main character and her determination and enjoyed meeting the other characters again. Plenty of action and some more of the background is uncovered. Loved it.

Not as good as part 1
The first book was so brilliant, when i saw a few reviews saying the second was equally thrilling, I didn't hesitate, however it is not as good. It is ok ... but given how much I enjoyed the first one, it had a lot to live up to and it was a little disappointing.
