About this listen
Dylan Locke knows that pining over the young ingenue Audrey Lind is pointless. He can’t offer her what she wants. He definitely can’t give her what she needs. Thank goodness she’s half a world away and he doesn’t have to deal with his attraction head-on.
But fate has other plans for him, and when Audrey once again lands in his path, it’s only too easy to fall back into their easy rhythm. And then their easy banter. And of course, each other’s arms.
He tells himself nothing has changed. She still wants forever, and he still thinks tomorrow is long enough. But watching her search isn’t as easy as he thought it would be, and now, Dylan must figure out if he’s really the love Scrooge he professes to be or if he’s been fate’s willing victim all along.
*Includes Sweet Liar, audiobook one in the Dirty Sweet duet.

Great story!
The Dirty Sweet Duet is an exciting addition to the Dirty Series that’s packed with emotion, humour, heat, and heart. The chemistry between Audrey and Dylan is off the charts hot and oh so steamy. I do love an age gap!

A Dirty Sweet Finale to Dylan and Audrey's Duet!
I really have loved this duo, but most of book two takes place in England as Audrey starts work at the National Gallery. Audrey is still cannot get Dylan out of mind.
So before long Audrey and Dylan play at being friends, unfortunately the sexual tension between is so hot it doesn’t take long before its friends with benefits.
I loved Audrey she was so confident, and knew she wanted and loved Dylan.
Unfortunately Dylan keeps putting walls between them.
I am so excited that the Audiobook is released before the book, so I couldn’t resist buying it. I have to say the pleasure of listening to Shane East as Dylan is the icing on the cake.

I came close to quitting this book
I'll start by saying I have 17 audiobooks by Laurelin Paige and have genuinely loved all of them but with 2 hours left to go on this book I very nearly gave up and at times it had me shouting out in sheer frustration.
I'm all for the 'will they won't they' storyline that comes with romance fiction but in this book Laurelin over played her hand. The period that was set in London was far too long with Dylan and his never ending procrastination, it was so incredibly frustrating bordering on annoyance. *SPOILER ALERT*
I listen to erotic romance books, I'm a hopeless romantic, which is the only reason I stuck with it whenq at the 8 hour mark I came close to quitting it. I want the characters to get together and see what comes of them as couple. You have to wait exactly 10 hours before that happens, theres plenty of sex before that point but it is 10 hours before they become a couple and then the books over with a hastily set prologue less around 45 mins later which left me feeling unsatisfied.
I listened to the last 5 hours all in one go, whether I'd felt so frustrated in smaller chunks I don't know but frustrating is what sums up this book and I'm really sorry about that as I do love this author.

Not my favourite
Whilst generally a big fan of Laurelin Paige this book has a weak storyline and didn’t capture my imagination in the same way her other books have. Very predictable without any twists and turns.
