Really enjoyed this compilation of short stories! All well written with great sense of foreboding in most and well performed too.
Some left me with a chill in my bones whilst one almost brought me to tears, but all left me wanting to hear more; I would gladly have listened to full length versions of each!

First things first, I had no idea what to expect when deciding to read this collection. However what I found within was pleasantly surprising. Each short story seem to play with the generic idea of sword and sorcery but added it's own twist. Twists I might add I did not see coming. From historical fiction to magical realism and horror this collection had enough to delight almost any fantasy pallet. Short, sweet and to the point. I really liked it.

Also, let's not forget the superbly done narration. Versatile and atmospheric it let me sink into the various stories with ease.
