About this listen
Temptation, thy name is Sunday Fallon, and I am done resisting. Once upon a time I’d been a priest, but she’d made a sinner of me and now I welcomed damnation.
She’d always been my destiny. The woman whose life was tied to mine. I just hadn’t planned on falling in love and being forced to choose between my vows and my soul. No matter how deep my connection to her ran, I had a greater purpose I was meant to serve. And now that she was carrying the Harbinger of the Apocalypse–the result of our passion–I had to get her away from the rest of them.
Her god of mischief.
Her devoted wolf.
Her dark prince.
She belongs to me...
Her twisted captor.
If she’ll let me, I’ll keep her. Hide her from everyone and everything that means to destroy her. Stop what’s coming and make her mine forever. Because Sunday Fallon is more than temptation. She’s my new religion. I’ve made my choice. This time I will not falter. I will worship at her altar and forsake all others. No matter the consequence.
The seals are broken.
Armageddon is coming.
And I’m ready for War.
Warning: This book is not for the faint of heart. It contains an obsessive stalker, a foul-mouthed, inked and pierced werewolf, a naughty professor with a fondness for watching, a god of mischief, and plenty of heat. If you don’t like your books spicy, your men broody, built, and more bad than good, this is not the series for you. But if you do...listen on, and welcome to The Mate Games.

K. Loraine and Meg Anne dragged me into their worlds of paranormal and magic, and I’m never leaving. Anyone who knows me will tell you that PNR isn’t my go-to genre but after hearing so much about Obsession, I dived in, and I went down a rabbit hole. First devouring all K. Loraine had to offer before moving on to a Meg Anne series—I still have more Meg to devour. I regret nothing and as this Mate Games series has progressed it’s showcased everything I love about their writing, both individually and together. They have this wonderful way of combining strong storylines and even stronger characters with heart and moments of levity. It’s an enticing mix.
Temptation is the final book in the Mate Games series and it came out swinging. I did have a little frustration with Sunday in the beginning of this book, (I blame her pregnancy brain) but she soon came back to the strong badass I know her to be. We find out so much more about Caleb in this book, and it really does make you understand him and his actions more. The banter between the guys, especially Kingston and Noah is so brilliant and had me laughing out loud in public.
What I love about this series the most is how rooted the storyline is. I was invested and captivated from the get go. I love how everything came together in this last book and the answers to our questions were revealed. Yes, it is super spicy, but it is so much more than that. It’s the story. The emotion. The connection each people have and the lengths they’re willing to go for each other. Superb.
Stella Hunter continued to be a showstopper throughout this series, and this book is no different. She not only voices Sunday but all the female characters, and each of them sounds so unique. The depth of emotion, and at times, despair she conveyed was phenomenal. Jason Clarke as Caleb is something I didn’t know I needed. If the Irish brogue wasn’t enough, the way he performed the guilt-riddled Caleb was a masterclass in emotion. And yes, just when I thought I was spared, he came in at the last hurdle to make me shed a couple tears. (Damn him!) J.F. Harding and James Joseph were brilliant as Kingston and Noah, their bromance was something I didn’t know I needed. Aaron Shedlock rounds out their why choose romance as Alek, and he tugged at my heartstrings. Also includes cameos from Shane East, Jacob Morgan, and Teddy Hamilton, and if you’ve done any of Kim or Meg’s other books, you’ll recognise some familiar characters voiced by them.
This is a must listen Why Choose romance, and I urge you to pick up book one today and binge the entire four-book series.
I am so excited for the next series. Pestilence. Starting with Deal with the Demon. Is it January yet?

I usually am a fan of romcoms, and I dabble in paranormal romance, mostly by these two authors because they write worlds that are steamy, action packed, adventurous, emotional, fun, and snarky! I love how they are able to inject some humor and levity for balance in the big, bad world.
Temptation is NOT for the faint at heart. Holy hotness, our former priest is one creative man with a focus on keeping Sunday safe and satisfied. Once Caleb gives in to his feelings for Sunday and embraces the permanence of their relationship, he is all-in, and I am here for it! Add to it the bonding experiences between Alec, Kingston and Thorne as they search for their mate and try to fend off the apocalypse, and the collective heartache that they experience, and you have an emotional conclusion that wraps up the series beautifully.
The spice level is ... I don't think there is a level high enough for this series. It's the classic "ours goes up to 11" type experience. And with Jason Clarke as Father Caleb, it's more like 11,000. Wow. All of the narrators in the series are amazing. Stella Hunter, James Joseph, JF Harding and Aaron Shedlock round out the full cast recording, and the experience is next-level amazing!
I'm going to miss this series! I hope that teaser at the end means that Kim and Meg have a lot more in store for us superfans, because I want more!
What an epic conclusion to The Mate Games!

Lead me into Temptation please.
Lead me into temptation with the sexy Father Gallagher. Oh I was on pins and needles for this finale of this epic series and absolutely loved it!
The build up to this final book was incredible but the way Kim and Meg brought the story all together was nothing short of amazing!
I was wondering what Caleb was doing following Sunday’s abduction in the last book and was shocked by all that occurred. Yet had faith it would all work out. And it does but there is so much that happened getting there. I didn’t want to put this book down because there was so much happening.
The dreams never ended either so Sunday had many things happening around her throughout the series but this book brought it all to a pinnacle. This is one fantasy reverse harem that you don’t want to miss!
I had the pleasure of hearing this series on audio and can’t stop re-listening to it because it was soooo awesome and I don’t want to say goodbye to these characters yet, if ever.
Stella Hunter was fabulous doing every female character in the series. Absolutely stunning performances by her. Especially with Sunday’s character. Stella showed us her vulnerabilities and her strengths in spades! What an amazing woman Sunday turns out being after being shunned by the super naturals her whole life before attending Ravenscroft University. She is likely the top FMC for 2022! Then there are the rest of the multi talented male narrators who also brought the male characters to amazing technological life. I never wanted this smorgasbord of acting to end!
I wanted to grow up and become Sunday because she really was kick*ass and feisty too!
Then there’s Sunday’s men. One princely vampire Noah played by James Joseph, new to my ears, and such a treat! I love accents and his portrayal of the sexy vampire let my mind go all the places in vivid detail. Next her intended wolf mate Kingston played by JF Harding who brought all of his alpha-ness and playfulness to reality. I loved his bantering with the others and his almost kid like acceptance to life and never giving up on Sunday. And don’t forget those piercings and those scenes that left me panting in the best way! Then we also had one sexy Demigod berserker Alec played by one of my favourites, the talented Aaron Shedlock. As well as the one and only Daddy, er Father Caleb Gallagher. Forgive me father but I have sinned! Played by Jason Clarke. All of these accents all in one place, hold onto your ovaries girls because you are going to swoon over this series. And there’s more! Cameos by Jacob Morgan, Teddy Hamilton and Shane East; oh my gawd, see what I mean about exploding ovaries. Every soul who loves paranormal, who seeks an unforgettable romance with a harem of sexy men needs this series in their lives.
So thankful for the ALC of this series from Audibly Addicted. You really want and need this series in your life.

This is the first series of Meg and Kim's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first book and can't help but binge each book as they are released. This series is one of my top reads for 2022.
Meg and Kim did a great job wrapping up the series. I loved he chemistry between Sunday, Thorne, Alek, Caleb, and Kingston. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I was so excited with the bonus epilogue that stated there is going to be a spin-off series. I can't wait for more details to be announced about Deal With The Demon.
I would highly recommend this series if you like reverse harem romances, rejected mate romances, fated mates romances, age gap romances, academy romances, or paranormal romances.
Fated Mates Romance

brilliant

These have been the best reverse harem I have listened to to date.
Story line of 4 completely different men and characters that literally come together with steaming sessions but shows so much love and devotion to one woman ‘Sunshine’ she’s one lucky girl to have them all service her and protect her.
Also lots of laughs as well as tears.
To have so many narrator’s too makes this audio perfect
Sex and war

Though the big story, the war between Good and Evil basically, was of course going to end on a happy note, there were enough twists and tragedies that I wasn’t sure about Sunday’s love story. The main characters get seriously roughed up, physically and emotionally, before they get to the end of the story. All of them. There was definitely more angst in this book, compared to the previous ones.
Which brought other sides of them to light. Caleb was always the broody one, so it doesn’t change, but his softer side appears from time to time. Noah was also always devoted to his family and heritage, but it’s causing him some grief. Kingston maybe has it the worst, and his funny and sassy side gets more balanced with sadness and despair. Alek, whose berserker has been appearing consistently since the previous book, shows more of his divine nature by taking charge of the group when needed. That gives them more dimensions and make the characters even more compelling. Well done.
The sexy is back, and keeps giving. Also, almost a bit of “swords crossing”at times and it made me a happy girl. At least, it shows they’re finally all comfortable in their unconventional relationship. Especially in the epilogue. I loved it!
While the theme has always been in the background, relationships with parents are at the heart of this final installment. The loss of them, parents’ figures, good or bad relationship, the power shifts between parents and their adult children, conflicts and reconciliations… There’s a lot of that, including the very antagonistic relationship between Sunday and her mother, and of course the fact that Sunday is going to be a mother by the end of the book. It wasn’t overdone, but it was clearly at the center of the story.
I was a bit disappointed with the final battle, as it seemed anticlimactic after the many fights there’s been in the previous books. It’s emotionally charged, sure, but the action keeps to the minimum, while I was expecting fireworks.
The narration was perfection. The narrators had a new challenge with their characters, as they were showing other sides of them, and they nailed it. There’s a new addition to the cast, for a new character that is supposed to come back in other books, and since it was my favorite narrator, I couldn’t be happier. He does it well, as usual.
This series definitely changed my opinion on both reverse harems and paranormal romances, and I can’t wait to read–or listen to–more collaborations between the authors.
What a conclusion!
