Jodi Taylor smashed it out of the park with this book. I loved it. Just popping off to reread it now. 😃

Absolutely fantastic
What can I say? Great story from Jodi Taylor laughs, tears, and I had no idea they were both so young, especially Lady Amelia. Lots of thrills, heart stopping moments, I might not be able to look a bag of frozen peas in the face again!
Zara Ramm, masterful.
A wonderful partnership, and not just Smallhope and Pennyroyal.

These stories keep on getting better
Liked all of it. I was saving this to listen to on my holiday, gave in and ended up listening to it all in two sittings.

Utterly fabulous
I love all of the St Mary and Time Police stories and Jodi Taylor has not disappointed with Smallhope and Pennyroyal. I sincerely hope that there are more books to come about the exploits of Smallhope and Pennyroyal. First class story, tears, action, drama and a whole new appreciation for frozen veg!
Expertly narrated by Zara Ramm whose timing and regional accents are second to none.
Please, please write more about Smallhope and Pennyroyal in the future as it’s lovely to get to know more about them.

Neatly dovetailed
The story nearly fitted with St Mary’s and filled in the gaps for us. Well narrated as ever. Now I’m going to read it again, as always with all Jodi Taylor books, a little slower this time!

made me laugh and cry
Wasn't sure that I would like this but that changed after the first chapter. it was great. might be tricky if you've not read the St Mary's Chronicles though
Zara Ramm is wonderful yet again, if fact perfect. no one else could ever do better.

Another cracking read!!
Like many, I love both the St Mary's and Time Police series, so it was inspired to have the intriguing Smallhope and Pennyroyal back stories told too! I especially liked the way this story was interwoven with the others and beautifully narrated, once again, by the wonderful Zara Ramm. I loved it from start to finish!
