'An evocative, sweet treat' Jojo Moyes
'Gorgeous, glorious, uplifting' Marian Keyes

Nina is a librarian who spends her days happily matchmaking books and people - she always knows what someone should read next. But when her beloved library closes and she's suddenly out of a job, Nina has no idea what to do next. Then an advert catches her eye: she could be the owner of a tiny little bookshop bus, driving around the Scottish highlands.

Using up all her courage, and her savings, Nina makes a new start in the beautiful Scottish highlands. But real life is a bit trickier than the stories she loves - especially when she keeps having to be rescued by the grumpy-but-gorgeous farmer next door...

Dreams start here . . .

Absolutely brilliant book

Narrator was super as always but I didn’t like any characters, left it playing away and didn’t pause it which tells me it was dull.

Didn’t like any of the characters.

Great to hear of Nina the bookworm. I wonder if there will be a sequel in which she embraces listening to audiobooks.

A Lovely Listen.

I haven't listened to an audiobook for a while and what a book to listen to to get back into it!
All the characters were fabulously written by Jenny Colgan and expertly brought to life by Lucy Price-Lewis.
While the story played out in a predictable manner - not a shred of disrespect intended toward the author - it was told in a graceful and heartwarming style.
The perfect type of story to listen to for hours on end as I crochet while snuggling on the sofa.

Thank you.

Superb

Thoroughly enjoyed the story, well written, good strong characters, but found the narration somewhat irritating

Great story

I absolutely love this story. It was a really heartwarming tale of someone who found herself, with some important lessons thrown in. I have listened to it many times. The narrator was perfect for this story.

Utterly brilliant

It must be good, it kept me sitting in the car on several occasions. Beautifully written. Very enjoyable.

Wonderfully descriptive.

Would you try another book written by Jenny Colgan or narrated by Lucy Price-Lewis.?

This book lectured on reading books. After 10 minutes of this I gave up bored.

What was most disappointing about Jenny Colgan’s story?

Never really discovered a story.

Any additional comments?

Not for me, I like some activity in my books and I certainly don't want to be lectured.

Yawn
