This book does a great job explaining credit score and other financial concepts in simple terms. The author uses sports to create relevant and motivating analogies to help listeners understand what they are talking about.

Having lived overseas for almost my entire adult life, focused on non-profit work, I never had the opportunity or need to establish a credit score in the USA. Coming back less than a year ago, I admit to being overwhelmed and paralyzed by all there is to figure out regarding finances and how to build a credit score from scratch.

Thanks to Chevon, I not only know where to start, but have a newfound hope that success in this area is possible, even for someone like me who is behind and inexperienced.

What a great book to listen to when you're really trying to understand your credit score and everything that could impact it. One thing I really wish I would have known sooner is when it comes to auto loans. Instead of hoping and praying that your credit is good enough to get that car you are eyeballing, instead get in contact with your bank and other credit unions to have them run your credit and this way you can walk in with a pre-approval loan letter for the dealership. Then, instead of finding the car you want and hoping you qualify, you can walk in with confidence knowing what you are already approved for. The book gives many other useful tips as far as how to keep an eye on your credit such as running the different credit reports once a year but stagger them as one per quarter so that you can consistently watch to make sure there's no issues. Great book for anyone looking to understand their credit score better. Great tips as well of how to help resolve bad debt balances or derogatory remarks.

I got the Kindle version of this book but wanted to listen to it and decided to get the audiobook too
The author offers the information and concepts in a way that is relatable and simple to understand. I was finally about to understand and differentiate between the different types of debt, credit programs, and knowing the breakdown of my score. which is important to manage credit scores.

I am planning to buy a house in the UK this year, so I felt the urge to QUICKLY BUT SURELY enhance my credit score… As a person who is not so knowledgeable of the money world, this audiobook came really handy! 

This is a must-listen for anyone who is struggling with their credit score or who wants to improve it. Author shares personal journeys, how credit works, and more information you've probably never heard of before. Learn how to build your credit score quickly, how to avoid factors that negatively affect your score, and how to get rid of reports that create a bad credit score. You'll be surprised by how much more  you can learn from this audiobook.

I found the organizational structure and narration of the book to be easy to follow, and the strategies it presented were useful and straightforward. Plus, it is enjoyable to listen!
