You don't really know a guy until you've vacationed with him ...

When Drew Wilson's ex-boyfriend Joel "Six" Bailey asks her to go on his family trip to Hawaii with him just as her life is falling apart, she decides it's the perfect time to give him another chance.

The hitch? The Bailey family includes Six's rude older brother, Joshua-a hot-nerd doctor who has hated Drew since the moment they met and once suggested she'd steal the family silver.

Drew is determined to win the Baileys over and give this thing with Six a fair shot...but Joshua is making that difficult. Not simply because he is in her way at every turn, but because-as one tropical adventure leads to the next-she's beginning to wonder if obnoxious, odious Joshua might be the

This was so fun!

When Drew is invited by her rockstar ex boyfriend to go on his family holiday to Hawaii, she decides a break from her life would be nice and an opportunity to give her ex another chance. What she doesn’t bank on is her ex’s older hot grumpy brother Josh, who hates her, also being there.

Why did I wait so long to continue this series?!?? I devoured this one, the audiobook was so good!! I personally feel any book with amazing banter translates so well to audio and the narrators knocked this one out of the park! The author knows how to write banter full of tension and chemistry that makes me want to squeal with excitement 🤪😁

The fact that most of this book took place on vacation just added that extra element of ‘I don’t like you but we are here together and we are stuck together’. It gave plenty of opportunity for the author to show us Drew and Josh not getting along, but also as Drew softens towards Josh as she realises maybe he doesn’t hate her quite as much as she first thought.

The second half was a bit of a change of pace once they go back to their normal lives but the plot shifted to how they could possibly navigate a relationship with all the barriers in the way. The first half was definitely my favourite but I was still hooked the whole way through.

My heart really went out to Drew as we discovered her challenging childhood, her controlling career and her childish disrespectful ex. Her instant protective response to any criticism was to put up her walls up and that’s what she did to Josh. He has his own family issues that have caused him to run away from them, but he showed Drew he cared for her through his actions, despite how grumpily he may have delivered them. Their romance was slowburn but it was so worth it🥰🥰

This series is a fantastic read definitely gonna be one of my top of the year!
