Most relevant  
Exceptional. One of my favourite novels and one of Ackroyd's laye masterpieces. Maybe his last great novel. This is well read by Maloney, but might have benefitted from a Tom Baker or Brian Blessed to really get under the skin of the blowhard and Arch bully Oberman, he was slightly underplayed I think. Otherwise... romance, mystery, magic and sacrifice. What more do you want?
