Taking place over about 30 years in Galilee during the first century AD, this book tells the stories of 14 martyrs who were dedicated to Jesus and attested to their belief in the resurrection. They all died for their commitment and belief. The stories are fascinating and truly inspirational, both individually and especially collectively. The writing and narration are appropriate to the topic. I am hopeful that the relatively brisk chapters will appeal to the short attention spans of the Tik Tok crowd, although anyone can find inspiration from this lovely book.
