Disappointing
This is not a critical review of Behe’s work from a biochemical perspective, rather it is another round of mudslinging in what is the most important scientific debate of this century.
Yes it is useful to know Behe’s background and best to find it out only after you have approached his work with an open mind.Equally useful to know the author’s.
Behe’s work is disruptive, this defends the status quo. The quality of Behe’s work, far outstrips his peevish critics.
Without Darwin’s Theory of Evolution we cannot reasonably continue on our selfish and destructive path, laying waste to millennia beauty and creativity that is our planet and our home. If we can open our minds even a little, we can see the magnificence of all around us.
For example, please note, Mr Lane that although machines host the Internet, people, not machines, with their infinite diversity created it and gave it its purpose.
People who believe that life begins and ends on this planet, are living in a very small world
